We also got to explore rocks and minerals that the Lu's have collected from all over the world. And we can't forget about the beautiful taxidermy. animals that we were able to look at. Getting up close and personal with all the different animals from near and far was a real treat for all the children and Mrs. Shim! Lastly we enjoyed fresh squeeze juice from their harvested fruit and a snack, as well as picking fresh lilkoi to share with our families. We will be back FOR SURE!!
We are so lucky to live Kula! We were able to walk across the street from school to the Lu farm and enjoy a fun filled visit. We explored the property on a Mule ride. We spotted rams, pheasants, pigs and goats. We were able to meet the Nanny goats and their new born babies (1 day young!). We fed the nannies and teenage goats and held and cuddled the baby goats. We learned how to let them suckle our finger. SOOO cute!. We also got to feed the piggies. Now we know what our mom means when she says our room looks like a "pig sty" or "stop eating like a pig!" We also got to explore rocks and minerals that the Lu's have collected from all over the world. And we can't forget about the beautiful taxidermy. animals that we were able to look at. A friend of mine has a necklace that was made from different colored minerals around the world. I never knew this until I told her about how much you enjoy rocks and minerals.

I missed this field trip but Mr. Lu is my grandpa's friend. I have been to the taxidermy shop. I saw all of the stuffed animals. I was most impressed with the lion. It looked real.

So glad you guys liked it. 😄😄 My favorite part of the farm is the baby goats. My sister and I like to name the new babies every year. The pheasant chicks are really cute when they are first hatched.
